BOYY - ART DIRECTION

The conceptual project was created for the esteemed luxury handbag brand ‘BOYY’.

My vision was to infuse BOYY's signature quirky and playful essence while highlighting the brand's roots in Bangkok. combining high flash lighting photography and an elevated editorial style for the still imagery, paired with storytelling through motion video.

I wanted to evoke curiosity and interest in an unexpected manner and place the brand in a unique juxtaposition of high-end luxury on local street scenes.

As for the motion video, I wanted to present this in a collection of 6 short scenes, each featuring a BOYY bag. Each selected location and outfit complimented each bag. The model's interaction with the bags was a crucial element to the narrative as we wanted to leave the viewers with the impression that each bag possessed its own distinct persona.

Ultimately, this conceptual project was a creative exercise designed to not only drive sales success and interest but also solidified BOYY's position as a brand that celebrates playfulness, culture, and luxury in perfect harmony.
